An architect is the most qualified of all construction professionals as they undertake extensive training over 7 years before they can operate. I have undertaken this training and I am registered with the Architects Registration Board, my registration number is 088521E.

Your local council will be able to advise on any 'permitted development rights' but the best advice is to pick up the phone and discuss your plans with your local architect!
